If you’re like me and visit Yahoo, you’ve seen the 101 “news articles” that pop up like clock work about industries that are still hiring and how going back to school is a viable solution for laid-off folk.

But buyer beware: most jobs in areas like computers, health care and food service are so low paying that graduates aren’t able to afford their student loan payments, even once they’re gainfully employed.

Yikes!

Some of these jobs pay even less than Unemployment.

Even the iconic computer geek is finding himself caught between a rack and a hard drive.

And how depressing is it that the NY Times has a section called “The New Poor”?

I prefer the term “Nouveau Pauvre”, thank you very much!
