Seemingly bent on ruing the popular sport, Figure Skating’s leaders have invented a scoring system so complicated, one has to take a seminar just to figure out what’s going on.

So, if you’ve given up on the idea that sport should simply require watching in order to enjoy, here’s a virtual boot camp on skating’s new Rubik’s Cube.

Long gone are the days of the iconic 6.0 = perfection judging.

So, break out that Texas Instruments calculator, and forget the popcorn, watching the Olympics now requires homework.
