Britain’s bad boy genius has died.

Revered by peers, and celebrated by critics and clients alike, he was more than a mantle Madonna could pass to Gaga.

The fashion world in particular, and the world at large, has lost one of it’s truly great artists.

RIP Alexander McQueen.
