you can only be locked-up in real life, not in fantasy, court rules

Nerds are the new tough guys.

A Wisconsin inmate has lost his appeal to play Dungeons and Dragons while incarcerated. Locked-up for life, the murderer and fantasy game aficionado was accused of forming an in-house gang revolving around the game. I guess other inmates were terrorized by this new geek squad.

Singer was told by prison officials that he could not keep the materials because Dungeons & Dragons “promotes fantasy role playing, competitive hostility, violence, addictive escape behaviors, and possible gambling,” according to the ruling.

But I guess all that is just fine for public high school kids then. LOL
