“Winter Wonderlights”

Rip Van Winkle wanders off one day with his dog into the Kaatskill mountains where he runs into an odd group of men drinking and bowling. He drinks some of their mysterious brew and passes out. When he wakes up under a tree he is astonished to find that 20 years have passed and things are a lot different!

The Historic Hudson Valley (www.hudsonvalley.org) recreated Rip Van Winkle’s imaginative experience with “Winter Wonderlights” at Washington Irving’s Sunnyside in Tarrytown, New York. You can catch the magic from Dec 12-14, 18-23, 26-30 and Jan 2-3.
